This 1.3-acre residential plot is in a Conservation Area but was sensitively redeveloped to create a new 64-bed care home. Following a direct approach to the landowner – an elderly couple looking to downsize – 376 Estates were able to help them realise a land value double that of its existing value.
The nature of the site required a delicate approach through planning. Clever use of design combined with proactive engagement with key stakeholders enabled us to secure a planning consent through delegated powers rather than through committee.
The new home is being delivered in partnership with Tanglewood Care and will provide much needed quality care beds to the local community.
